What Election Cycle Is Doug Running In?

Clarke County is having a special election for the Berryville Board of Supervisors position this upcoming November 5, 2024 due to the early resignation of its last supervisor. This position will be through the next local election in 2027.

Election Day 2024

Election Day is November 5, 2024. Polls open in Clarke County at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. If you are cutting it close at the end of day, please remember that you absolutely must be in line by 7:00 p.m. otherwise once the poll worker stands at the end of the line, you cannot vote! Be sure to get to the polls early, during the day, or otherwise leave work a few minutes early!

If you are a resident of the Berryville District as the map indicates below, your polling place is the Clarke County Public School Administration building located at 317 W. Main Street, Berryville, VA 22611.

Early Voting Information

As of September 20 through November 2, 2024, any registered voter may cast an early vote ballot at their local registrar’s office. Here in Berryville and Clarke County, you may cast an early vote ballot between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the two Saturdays preceding Election Day at the Berryville-Clarke County Government Center located at 101 Chalmers Court, Berryville, VA 22611.

Absentee Voting

If a month of early voting isn’t enough time for you to cast your ballot for Doug either, you can mail in an absentee voting ballot! There are several options for casting an absentee ballot so it is important to review those limitations HERE! If you are eligible, please contact the Clarke County Office of Elections at (540) 955-5168 or email vote@clarkecounty.gov to obtain a mail-in ballot.
